Make It Your Own
Every piece of wood has its own character. Every commission should, too.
Your Wood. Your Choice.
From richly figured walnut and maple to striking exotic hardwoods, we'll help you discover the material that speaks to you.
We'll begin by discussing the colors, grain patterns, and natural characteristics you're drawn to. Then we'll share photographs of suitable hardwoods from our existing inventory or explore available selections from our specialty suppliers.
You'll have the opportunity to choose the actual wood for your commission before production begins.
Natural live-edge designs are available when suitable material can be sourced.
Personalized Engraving
Make your piece even more meaningful with custom laser engraving.
Names, dates, family inscriptions, meaningful passages, and personal messages can be engraved in Hebrew, English, or both.
Whether subtle and understated or more elaborate, each engraving is thoughtfully incorporated into the design.
Custom Artwork
Have a particular image, family symbol, or artistic concept in mind?
We can explore incorporating custom laser-engraved artwork into your commission, from simple illustrations to intricate designs.
Custom artwork is reviewed for suitability and quoted individually based on design complexity and engraving requirements.
Finishing Touches
Depending on the piece, explore available fittings, hardware finishes, and other details that complement your selected hardwood.
We'll guide you through the options to ensure the finished piece is both beautiful and functional.
The Commissioning Experience
01 — Share Your Vision
Every commission begins with a conversation. Tell us what you're imagining, whether you have a specific design in mind or simply an appreciation for beautiful hardwoods.
02 — Discover Your Wood
We'll explore available materials, share photographs of carefully selected hardwoods, and help you find the piece that best reflects your vision.
03 — Finalize the Details
Together, we'll confirm your wood selection, design, personalization, and finishing details. You'll receive a personalized quote for approval before your commission begins.
04 — Crafted by Hand
Your piece is individually crafted in our Harrisburg, Pennsylvania workshop, with attention to every detail and respect for the natural character of the wood.
Lead Time & Availability
Bespoke commissions typically require 4–6 weeks of production time following final design approval and material availability.
Specialty hardwood sourcing, custom artwork, and more elaborate commissions may require additional time.
A deposit is required to secure an accepted commission. Final pricing and deposit terms will be provided with your personalized quote.
