Introducing Nº 001, the inaugural work of the Austere Collection by Tree of Life Menorah Co., a one-of-a-kind menorah handcrafted from solid walnut, where the natural character of the wood becomes the centerpiece of the design.

Its clean, architectural silhouette provides a quiet contrast to the extraordinary movement within the walnut. Sweeping grain, distinctive knots, and natural checks tell the story of the tree from which it came. Nothing has been concealed for the sake of uniformity. Nothing has been added without purpose.

Nine individual glass oil cups follow the length of the piece, with the shamash deliberately separated from the other eight lights. The result is a contemporary interpretation of a centuries-old tradition, balancing simplicity, craftsmanship, and meaning.

As the first work in the Austere Collection, Nº 001 holds a singular place in the history of Tree of Life Menorah Co.

The underside bears the Tree of Life maker's mark, its individual collection number, the words The First of Its Line, the date of creation, and the personal signature of its maker, Seth Raffensperger.

A single original. Never to be duplicated.

Created to be admired as art, cherished as an heirloom, and used to carry the light and traditions of Hanukkah from generation to generation.
