Handcrafted from solid walnut, Austere Nº 002 is an original, one-of-a-kind Hanukkah menorah that celebrates the extraordinary beauty found within the natural imperfections of wood.

Its clean, architectural silhouette provides a striking contrast to the organic movement of the walnut grain. Distinctive knots interrupt the surface, dark natural checks trace their own paths through the wood, and sweeping grain patterns reveal the history of the tree.

These characteristics are not flaws to be hidden. They are the very details that make this piece impossible to duplicate.

Nine individual glass oil cups follow the length of the menorah, with the shamash intentionally separated from the other eight lights. Every element serves a purpose, allowing the natural beauty of the walnut to remain the focal point.

Created as the second original work in the Austere Collection, Nº 002 is individually numbered, dated, and personally signed by its maker, Seth Raffensperger. The underside bears the Tree of Life Menorah Co. maker's mark and a permanent engraved inscription identifying its place within the collection.

A contemporary expression of an ancient tradition, created to be displayed with pride, cherished as an heirloom, and passed from generation to generation.
